    Celebrating its 30th year, the Royston Arts Society is a thriving group with over 90 members who hold a major exhibition annually in the Town Hall with over 300 paintings on show

    Formed in 1974, Royston Choral Society performs a wide variety of choral music in 4 concerts a year, usually in Royston Parish Church

    Royston Little Voices is an arts group for children aged between 5 and 9 years old which aims to engage children in creative music and drama activities

    The Photographic Society provides a forum for amateur photographers of all abilities to share their work and interests, as well as organising a variety of competitions and quizzes

  • The Banyers Hotel
    The Banyers, a Grade II listed building, is one of the oldest hotels in Royston and has recently undergone a major makeover

    Established for over 200 years, Curwens retains the traditional values of a local law firm and was the host for one of our many art exhibitions

    The Green Man is an historic pub located in the middle of Royston and played host to a variety of local bands during the Festival

    Greneway middle school, named after an ancient pathway linking Royston to the villages, boasts an impressive performance space and was the venue for our drama and book group events

    Meridian, which hosted our Friday evening dance show, is a Maths and Computing Specialist College and the only school in the town for students aged between 13 and 19

    The Old Bull can trace its origins back to 1520 and provided a warm and friendly setting for our blues and folk music evenings

    Royston Cave is a unique man-made cavern that features an extensive range of wall carvings, is believed to date from the 13th century, and may have been used by the Knights Templar

    Royston Museum contains an extensive collection of artefacts, photographs, newspapers, documents, textiles and paintings relating to the history of the town and played host to many of the Festival's creative events
